No one's had a bigger year than Caitlyn Jenner. And now she can add "Most Fascinating Person" to her list of accomplishments.
Barbara Walters revealed Jenner was her pick for the annual honor during a special on ABC Thursday. The reality star and former Olympic athlete beat out a number of worthy candidates to claim the title, including Amy Schumer, Bradley Cooper, Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders, Jeff Bezos and Ronda Rousey.
Though the award could've really gone to anyone on the list, it's hard to argue any person was more deserving than Jenner.
In April, the Olympic gold medalist came out as a transgender woman during an interview with Diane Sawyer. Since then, she's starred in her own reality show about the transition, "I Am Cait," and received the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the 2015 ESPYS, answering criticism and backlash every step of the way.
Walters praised Jenner for raising a national discussion on gender and bringing awareness to trans issues.
"Through her own transformation, Caitlyn Jenner transformed society this year, and that, for us, makes her the most fascinating person of 2015," said Walters.
